The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department hosted a dedication ceremony and opened the new additions to Dudley Park on Monday, November 1 (click here for more photos). SPLOST-funded park improvements include an amphitheater, restroom facility, picnic shelter, and pedestrian plaza.  Artist Krysia Ara created the mosaic “Heron Sighting” featured in the park with support from the Athens Cultural Affairs Commission. The 31-acre park is located along the North Oconee River between East Broad and Poplar Street.
