The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County (ACCGov) invites professional artists to submit public art applications for two sites on the Firefly Trail in Athens, Georgia. ACCGov is seeking a sculpture at the Old Winterville Road Trailhead and a functional sculpture for the rest area at the Indian Hills and Winterville Road intersection. The selected artists will work with the government staff to create public art that enhances trail user experience and complements the selected sites.
