On Tuesday, December 5 at 8:00 p.m. Arts In Community Grant winner, the Athens Choral Society, will present its fall concert “Angels Everywhere.” The concert will feature Sarah Quartel’s “Snow Angel” and will feature choreography and dancers from DanceFX, narration, piano, cello and choir. Sarah Quartel says “the work asks the listener to see the tremendous potential present in our children. It celebrates love, beauty, and the strength that a child’s voice can bring to our troubled world.” The concert will also feature other works around the theme of angels including “Angels Watching Over Me,” “Angels Unaware,” Rutter’s well known “Angels Carol, and new settings of familiar carols including “Angels From the Realms of Glory,” “Angels We Have Heard on High,” and others.

The concert will take place in Hodgson Hall on the campus of the University of Georgia and is free. No ticket is required.
